Layers and Transparency

My style is based on glazing. I will layer hints of tone on many layers to get a rich full coloration. I can also swap out a color in the pallet and have the whole illustration change. Even decals are on separate layers so the won't be effected.

As you can see I've made several spot colors in yellow. Changing the yellow to a blue would change the whole car evenly. The high lights and shadows that mold the car into shape are on separate layers. I can add decals and stripes by adding them to the layers under the shhadows and high lights.

Beautifully done and I appreciate seeing some of how you did it. I'm a bit surprised by the order, though. Why are the front tires on a layer above the body in the layer listing? I'd have thought that the body would be above the tires to block part of their shape.
