Thanks for your comments I have found Live Trace (formerly Streamline) to be a godsend. I like drawing by hand and yhen bringing that art into the vector environment of Illustrator. Feeds both sides of the mind and I like that.

well I would say you have mastered live trace. I hardly know how to use it....

My one comment about Live Trace... I really liked Streamline. I could use large 1200dpi scans now it always seems to chocke out about 600 dpi and the makes for slighhtly choppier end product.
