Want to add a personal touch to the Web Photo Gallery you created? Here’s the down and dirty for how to do that (and it may get a little dirty if HTML spooks you). But fear not…You can do this without blowing up your gallery!
1
Go to Applications:Adobe Photoshop CS3 (or whatever version you’re working on):Presets:Web Photo Gallery (PC: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3\Presets\Web Photo Gallery). There’s a folder for each template, so find the one you want to customize and duplicate it. Duplicating this folder is essential! Please don’t attempt to edit the existing template. (Note: Unless you’re an experienced Web designer, it’s easier to edit the HTML templates than the Flash templates, and some HTML templates are easier to edit than others.)

2
Open the IndexPage.htm file in the Web editor of your choice (we used Adobe GoLive) and use whatever method your tool uses to allow you to add a graphic. Move the graphic for your logo into the template’s “images” folder, if it has one (otherwise, just put it in the main folder). Then save the IndexPage.htm file back into the duplicated folder, replacing the original IndexPage.htm file.

3
Rename the duplicated folder so you know it’s yours. If you moved it out of the Presets folder, move it back in. Then restart Photoshop and Bridge. Run the Web Photo Gallery command from within Bridge, in the same manner as described above, but this time your website will include your logo.

The beauty of using Web Photo Gallery to generate a gallery of Illustrator artwork is that all the work is done for you: A JPEG copy of your vector artwork is automatically created, and all the Web design is done for you. All you have to do is upload the results to your Web server!
